This is how Eva describes her process:
Like a dream a fleeting feeling barley perceptible, images emerges from countless layers. It can be hidden deep inside memories from nature or meeting ither oeople. I paint layer upon layer, scrape away and fill in, and along the way insights and knowledge emerge that create my painting.
What characterizes my pictures are usually the colors and the mixture between the restless and meditative movements that arise in the work.
She has done a number of international exhibitions in Norway, Germany, Italy and Spain. Some of them have been solos and juried exhibitions.
She work in her studio on Postgatan 4, a part of Gothenburg's historic part, dating back to the 17th century, when she is not working at the KKV Konstnärernas Kollektivverkstad in Gothenburg.
Eva's desire is to have the opportunity to touch people through art, in a way where we give ourselves permission to reflect on our own potential and who we are. She wants her art to help others discover new sides of themselves.
